~There are only 5 Water Valley 2018 Calendars left for purchase at the General Store, $20 each~
We are still needing around $250,000 for completion of our precious Community Hall, so if you or anyone you know would like to donate to help our community cause, you can send an e-transfer by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org or pickup an envelope from the General Store. Every monetary donation, small or big is Welcome! *all donations are tax deductible*
We did have a VERY special donation - given to us from Miss Matyx Teigen, 8 yrs old - who auctioned off all of her Christmas candy to her family members and raised $20.25 for the Community Hall!!!! What a great effort, and very generous of her to sacrifice her sweets! THANK YOU MATYX
Also something to note, by chance if you or your company donate $20,000+ you will get a permanent free plaque with your name on it in the new hall!
All in all - we are pretty much on schedule for our desired finish date of June 1, 2018! Great job & thank you to everyone for pitching in and helping out, rolling up their sleeves and saving the community thousands of dollars!!! The rink is going to be flooded any day now, we are just waiting on frost delays and now with the warmer temps, waiting for it to get back down below zero again.
The 2017 bottle drives raised a whopping $5,250 and all that money will go to the finish construction of the new hall. Great job everyone!! Next one will be Saturday, Feb. 3rd. Bring all bottles to community hall between 10am-3pm.
